BIO

From Miami bars he wasn’t even old enough to enter, to Nashville studios alongside legends, George has held down stages for decades, anchored by instinct, feel, and six strings that do most of the talking.

A lifelong lead guitarist, songwriter, and gig-worn performer, whether solo or sideman, he’s spent a lifetime living and breathing music that actually moves people.

His playing blends blues, rock, slide, and soul, grounded in musical intelligence, but led by instinct. He doesn’t need to calculate, the music is bone-deep.

He’s not necessarily tied to a genre, but he is tied to the moment. Every solo is different, pulled from whatever the song needs and whatever he’s feeling in real time.

George spent years gigging across the Southeast, including a long run in Savannah’s iconic River Street scene with Ansel, Strong & Reeves, and later as a studio guitarist and songwriter in Nashville.

His original song The One earned recognition in the Nashville Songwriters/CMT Contest, where it received multiple accolades for its lyrical depth and emotional weight.

Now based in Asheville, NC, George continues to play solo and with hand-picked collaborators, bringing that same honest, electric energy to every stage whether it’s a house concert or a crowd.

He’s been called one of the most soulful guitarists you’ll hear live but he’ll tell you he’s just here to sprinkle a little sugar on any music he's involved with.

George’s sound is soaked in the roots of American music - part blues, part rock, all feel.

His slide work howls like midnight train steel. His riffs are sharp and soulful, shaped by years of live play and deep listening. He plays like the road behind him: weathered, gritty, and full of stories.

Whether solo or with a band, his tone lands somewhere between back porch and bar stage - raw, real, and rooted in experience you can hear.
